1. Why should I go for this award?

Global Teacher Award has become benchmark in teacher quality. We are seeking nominations for the 6rd edition of the same after grand success of 1st grand success of previous 5 years in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 & 2022. Winning this award means being a part of league of teachers of high calibre & high repute.

2. I am a new teacher with a small amount of experience, can I apply?

Only the teachers with a minimum of 2 years of experience can apply for this award, if you are less than that wait for some more time.

3. Is there any nomination fee for the same?

No, there’s no any fee for nomination.

4. What is the probability of getting selected for this ward?

This awards is for the teachers who are performing well. After nominations are received, selections will be purely based on merit.

5. Is it mandatory to get recommended by other teachers?

Yes, it is a mandatory part of Nomination Process to get recommended by 5 other teachers who may be from your school/institute or any other school/institute of the world. While filling up the Nomination Form, you have to give name, mobile no, email id, designation & school name of 5 teachers.

6. What if all the 5 teachers don’t recommend me?

Give the details of those 5 teachers who you trust and will be happy to recommend you, keep on checking the status of Teacher Recommendations under the header NOMINATION PROGRESS but if some of has not recommended you, talk to them to check whether they received link, you can resend the link using Email, SMS & WhatsApp from our website only, you can request a few more teachers at the same place.

7. I am a winner of GTA previously, can I apply for GTA 2023?

Yes, you can apply for 2023.

8. What are the steps involved in Nomination Process?

Registration

First you have to Register on GTA Website with your Mobile number & Email ID, an email will go you ID with a verification link, click that link to verify, a message will appear that you have successfully registered with AKS Education Awards Website and it will take you to Login Page, now login again to fill Nomination Form for GLOBAL TEACHER AWARD.

Nomination

After registration is verified and complete, you be have to fill in Nomination will have following sections:

Section 1: Nomination Form; Personal Details, Professional Details & Self Nomination

Section 2: Photo Upload

Section 3: Self Evaluation: Self-rating from 1 to 5 on 10 Parameters.

Section 4: Recommendation by 5 Teachers

9. Can I edit the information after submitting the Nomination Form?

After submitting Self-nomination form, login again and in you dashboard on the right side Edit Nomination Form will be there under the Head of NOIMNATION PROGRESS, click on the link and your form will open in editable format.

10. My school has nominated some teachers and has not included me, can I apply independently?

Technically you can apply independently but it is better to take permission of the school.
